Sheriff's sales
Monthly sales are the product of foreclosures by lending institutions. The most current property listing is available by clicking here (.pdf format).

The sheriff's department does not and cannot act as a real-estate agent and does not have detailed property descriptions available, with the exception of the legal boundaries published with the notice of sale.

Sales generally occur on the last Wednesday of each month. Unless otherwise noted through December 2009, sales will take place in Room 104 of the Elkhart County Administration Building, 117 N. Second St., Goshen. The Jan. 27, 2010 sale will be conducted in the training room of the corrections facility, 26861 C.R. 26 (parking is available in the rear of the building, close to the training entrance).

It is expected the February event and all future sales will be conducted in the training room of the new law enforcement building at the front of the C.R. 26 complex.

Bidders do not need to register in advance. Payments are due the same day as the sale.
